Kevin Shannon

Kevin Shannon began his journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1998. He has trained with and has been promoted by some of the legends of the art. Starting off with the Machado Brothers till 2001 and then under Renzo Gracie for a good portion of his time. In 2007 he joined Rosendo Diaz
and remained with Team 3G and was awarded his black belt, currently holding the rank of 3rd degree. Kevin has a high-level understanding ofthe gi and the techniques involved. Also being well versed in no-gi and wrestling concepts he can translate the differences and deliver a well-rounded ground game for all from beginner to advanced. Aside from instructing, Kevin is a Senior Level Mechanical Designer specializing in cryogenics.
