Our Lineage

Our lineage starts with Helio Gracie then to Royler Gracie, and then to Rosendo Diaz. Our jiu-jitsu instructors have trained under Rosendo Diaz and earned their belts through him. Rosendo Diaz received his black belt in August 2003 from Royler Gracie and was part of the Royler Gracie competition team and was a training partner of Royler. He was one of the original jiujitsu practitioners on the east coast and one of the pioneers of jiujitsu in PA. Rosendo is the creator of the 3rd Generation jiu-jitsu team that we are a part of. The 3rd Generation Jiu-jitsu network is vast and is a great network of jiujitsu practitioners.
